At Oregon Trail Veterinary Clinic, our doctors have extensive experience in routine and complex surgical procedures. We make every effort to ensure that all our pet patients receive the highest standard of care.

What to Expect
We understand that surgery can be a stressful time for owners and their pets. Our top priority is the safety and well-being of your companion, and we strive to make it a pleasant experience for everyone.
Our doctors perform a full physical examination before surgery, and we highly recommend pre-anesthetic blood testing to ensure your pet is ready to undergo anesthesia. All surgical procedures take place in our state-of-the-art surgical suite, and we carefully monitor your pet’s vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels) during surgery and the following recovery period. You’re welcome to check on your pet, but we ask that you allow us adequate time to complete the procedure. You’ll be given detailed instructions for at-home care, and we’re always available to address any questions or concerns regarding your pet’s surgery.
